For those that follow our exploits on Facebook, these images won't be new, but for those are just visiting our blog site, these images may be of interest.

Heidi and I are creating eight books for Gemser Publications, a wonderful family run business based in Spain. We have had the pleasure of meeting them a few times, at the various book fairs and hopefully we will be able to meet up again at the up and coming London Book Fair.

Anyway, we are concentrating on the first four books at the moment...stories about a little bear who has just as many adventures and questions as you or I.

The covers have been designed and two of those covers have been created as final artwork. Some of the interiors have also been designed and pencilled. Hope you like them!

After visiting a friends blog site...and seeing a link to ours...i realised it had been a very VERY long time since we had posted anything!

I could blame life and work...ok, I will...but actions speak louder than words, so consider us back!

Site Update!

Hi....blimey...its April 2008!

Just about to head to the London Book Fair 2008...feel free to call me on 07962 010001 if you want to meet up. We'll be tracking lots of people down while we're there.

You may also notice our new charity run widget...please sponser us and help the NSPCC...thanks!

I'll update tis site with some new work as soon as i'm back.

A quick update image for a Franklin Watts reading book i'm working on...'Hippo Isn't Happy'

A couple of quick updates on projects successfully finished last month. A return to the Three Billy Goats Gruff, in the shape of a new cover for its republish by Parragon as a sticker book.

Also a image from a reader book just finished for Oxford University Press...yet another starring role for Poppy!

'I Love You Always and Forever' is going from strength to strength, selling all across the world. My next project from Gullane, now part of the Alligator publishing house, will be 'Rufus, the Artic Hare'. This story will be about a little snow hare's adventures at christmas time.

Remember this title from our promotional sheet last year? Well here it is in the flesh, thanks again to BizzyBee!

I've decided to let Heidi share my limelight...after much public demand! As some of you will know, Heidi has run away from her fulltime job to join the wonderful world of children's books...and freelance life :) (daytime tv, dog walks, ebay...oh and work)

Its great having the company and even better having the extra input. We both have degrees in Graphic Design and we have always made a great team in the past.

Where the....cough...have you been?!

Well...i feel very ashamed...its been over a year since i visited my page...a year! Where did it go?

I'm back now though, so stop your fretting...and i'll try and stay for a while!

In my defence, it certainly has been a very busy year. Loads of wonderful books to work on and even some with my wife Heidi as author. Bizzy Bee have published four of our books so far, with some more in the pipeline. I'll post some images soon.

My whole year ahead also seems to be filling up nicely, with some more great books to look forward to.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and worked with me over these years...no, you're not getting rid of me thast easily.

I'm off again now, but i'll check in again soon with some fresh images and some up to date news (not a year old!).

London Book Fair

Hi everyone, just preparing to leave for the Fair...our first visit, but we thought we'd check it out instead of Bologna this year. Hoping to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones too. This year we shall be promoting our 'writer & illustrator' venture...we produced a small sheet of ideas to get the ball rolling (see above).

My wife and i felt it was time we put some of our joint talents onto the page, we work so well together in life that it just seems the most natural progression. Anyway, don't just take our word for it, feel free to take a look at the sheet and get in touch if you like what you see...or see us at the fair...we'll be the ones looking lost probably.

Always and Forever

I have just finished this book for Gullane, however due to the controls on its promotion, i won't be able to show you any images. Keep coming back for further updates...and if Paula says so, some pictures. Work has already begun on their next title, 'For Everyone to Share', more details soon.

Current Projects

At the moment i am finishing off a couple of titles for Marks & Spencer.

I'm also working on a title for Gullane called 'Always and Forever', a story about two mice. Unfortunately i cannot show you any images for this title, until next year!

Each book has 14 spreads in total and feature some of the most detailed work i have done to date. Please note though that the images published are unfinished and were scanned prior to completion, to allow for comments.

'Why I love My Daddy'

Another spread from 'Why I Love My Mummy', also used for the cover.

Here are some recent images created for Harper Collins. This one is from the book 'Why I Love My Mummy'.
